How to mine DubaiCoin on lolMiner

Disclaimer: The project seems to be dead (with updates ending 2 years ago) so proceed with caution, you might not get anything for the time you put into mining DubaiCoin.

So, how do you mine DubaiCoin?

This is a quick guide aimed at those who are already mining crypto such as Ether.

If you already have GPUs setup, then it’s quite straightforward. My example here will be using lolMiner as the miner.

The steps

1. Get the wallet software directly at https://github.com/dubaicoin-dbix/dbixwall/releases (it says deprecated but it can still work)
2. Once downloaded, launch dbixwall.exe
3. Create a new account
4. Copy your wallet/account id, keep it handy, you’ll paste it later.
5. Select a pool (I can’t recommend a specific one yet, still trying them out)
6. Create a copy of your mine_eth.batfile.
7. Rename it to mine_dubaicoin.bat.
8. Replace in the values for the pool address and wallet id, just as usual when you first started mining ETH.
9. Launch your .bat file like usual.

That’s it, now just wait for your DBIX to come in.

Liquidity is quite scarce and not many exchanges support DBIX yet and we don’t know if they will, so this is quite the risk at the moment.
